Wire Rods from SAIL are high quality hot rolled steel wire rods manufactured at IISCO Steel Plant (ISP), Burnpur and Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP), Bhilai, under ISO 9001:2015 certified processes. Available in diameter range of 5.5 mm to 22 mm (ISP) and 5.5 mm to 10 mm (BSP), these wire rods are produced using advanced steelmaking facilities including Vacuum Degassing, Electro Magnetic Stirring and No Twist Rolling Mill with controlled cooling, ensuring clean steel with uniform chemistry, superior surface quality and consistent mechanical properties. SAIL Wire Rods conform to key Indian Standards including IS 7887 (Low Carbon grades GR 2, GR 3, GR 4, GR 6M, GR 7M, GR 8M & GR 2 CAQ), IS 7904 (High Carbon grades HC38B to HC82BCr & HCT1130Cr), IS 2879 (Electrode grade EWNR), IS 11169 (Cold Heading grades 21C10BT & 26C10BT) and IS 2062 (E250 Gr A).
